The Cape Peninsula Morning Tour
Overview
The tour of the Cape Peninsula departs from hotels in the city, Sea Point and the V&A Waterfront. You travel southwards along the western seaboard of the Peninsula through Camps Bay, Llandudno and Hout Bay. The route takes you over the scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive (if open) with wonderful views over the Atlantic Ocean and the Peninsula. Turn inland through Noordhoek and Scarborough to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. There you have the opportunity to travel to the light house with the funicular (own account) for magnificent views over the Point and the Ocean.
The return trip takes you northwards to the opposite side of the Peninsula alongside False Bay. You visit the Boulders Penguin Colony (own account.) These African Penguins are highly endangered and very popular with tourists. Your tour ends in Cape Town.
