The Cape Township Morning Tour
Overview
This tour is also called the “Cape Care Route”. In South Africa the word ‘township” refers to residential areas where previously disadvantaged and underprivileged communities live. These townships are a vital part of the South African community. On this tour you will have the opportunity to get insight into the past as well as post 1994 progress. You will visit community projects aimed at helping the development of disadvantaged communities and build a better life for all. You will be exposed to another side of Cape Town and be inspired by people devoting their lives to help others: the unsung heroes of the ‘new South Africa”.
