#Protea Hotel Kruger Gate The Protea Hotel Kruger Gate is situated at the Kruger Gate, which is the main entrance to the Kruger National Park. It is an ideal venue for people interested in visiting the Kruger National Park but still wanting to enjoy the comfort of a good four star hotel. Open safari vehicle game drives into the park can be booked in the hotel lobby.
The hotel is positioned on the banks of the Sabie River right next to the fence of the Kruger Park. The sundeck on the hotel grounds enables guests to frequently view animals coming to drink at the river. It also provides an opportunity for bird watchers to enjoy the abundance of birds present at the river front.
The 96 rooms with en-suite bathrooms include the following facilities: DSTV, tea/coffee making facilities, air conditioning and hairdryers.
Breakfast is served in the Kudyela Restaurant, an a la carte lunch is on offer on the wooden sundeck and a buffet dinner in the open air lapa (weather permitting).

Panorama Route
##Panorama Route The scenic Panorama Route, with various viewpoints, runs along the top of a section of the escarpment between the Mpumalanga Highveld and Lowveld. It offers incredible views, we strongly recommend it. The Route may be approached from Ohrigstad or from the logging town of Graskop.
